Culture

MaPS is a diverse group of professionals who enjoy working together in a rewarding environment that is challenging and intense. However, while people at MaPS work very hard, the atmosphere remains at all times collegial, open, and friendly. Everything from the company's business-casual dress code to its group-oriented floor plan is designed to create an office environment that is professional, yet comfortable. We believe this environment promotes teamwork, creativity and open-minded approaches to solving client problems.

The MaPS culture is also very supportive. In particular, everyone makes themselves available to help train new employees, to provide friendly advice, and to lend a hand to meet client deadlines. While there is no doubt that employees should sometimes expect to work long hours, and even weekends, extended periods of such workloads are the exception, rather than the rule.

Finally, recognizing that such a challenging environment can sometimes be stressful, MaPS also tries to ensure that there are ample opportunities to have some FUN. MaPS sponsors a company softball team, themed Friday happy-hours and organized social events including trips to watch the Boston Red Sox and New England Revolution, wine tastings, barbecues, and other group outings. Of course, these events are in addition to numerous activities organized by the staff on a more informal basis.
